Outline

        1)      Democrats now dominate the electorate and aim to destroy the last remnants of capitalism.

        2)      Republicans have lost all credibility to protect capitalism, stereotyped as cultural-conservative Christian racist-rednecks
        clutching their guns and bibles.

        3)      A constitutional solution is required to preserve free-market capitalism from the extra-constitutional death-grip of democrat
        collectivists. Electoral strategies are ineffective.

        4)      Plan for Dissolution and Bifurcation calls for a constitutional convention by 2012, two thirds of the state legislatures authorizing.
        Union is dissolved, nation bifurcated using the Mississippi. New West is created with new improved constitution. Land east of
        the Mississippi is ceded to the current collectivist regime to operate as their proclivities suggest.

        5)      Result – Capitalism enshrined as the basis for the New West, Obammunism persists in the Old East for those who enjoy
        fascist-state collectivism. Win-win!

         
                                                  Benefits enjoyed by New West citizens include:

a.       Individual income tax abolished, with no need to reveal the quantity of one’s reward for productive effort. Capitalists-   entrepreneurs of the world - welcome!

b.      No forced ponzi-retirement-scheme. Citizens in the New West will be remunerated for their forced donations to Social
Security plus 20% interest for their inconvenience. This repayment available only to original New West citizen-patriots,
those emigrating later from the Old East will be ineligible. All non-military federal lands in the New West will be sold to
cover this immense cost. Can you say stimulus?

c.       Doctors and patients can once again become acquainted by direct interaction, same as the dry cleaner and the vet.
Doctors will be free to earn as much as the market will bear, freed from unjust tort laws and government intrusion –
lowering the cost to consumers for their service. Medicants will not be regulated by the state, giving the free-market medical administrators and customers total freedom of choice and action.

d.      Religious and economic liberty constitutionally guaranteed. There will be a reinforced wall between church and state, those spheres remaining strictly segregated. This means freedom both of religion and from the same.

e.       Education is returned to the market, government is specifically excluded. Every family can decide on the format, content and quality of their progeny’s knowledge.

f.        All forms of government welfare and redistribution are prohibited in the New West. This allows a more liberal immigration policy as welfare is nonexistent. Unnecessary regulation of individuals and business are forbidden. Government influence
in the market will be strictly proscribed.

g.       New West currency will be backed by tangible assets or privatized, inflation eradicated. Free trade with other nations
will take the highest priority. Import-export tariffs and subsidies verboten.

h.       The New West government would provide top-notch high-tech military for protection from external threats, acting only in
the new nation’s strategic interests and eliminating foreign subsidies altogether. Military comprised of highly educated and
well paid soldiers - draft no bueno. During conflict they will be asked only to kill the enemy, win the war, return as heroes -
not to emulate the Peace Corps or the WPA.

i.        No re-election. All government employees must arise from and return to the market.
